An ordinance setting the millage rate to be imposed upon taxable non-exempt real and personal property in the Town of Shalimar, Florida during the Fiscal Year 1994-1995.

95-02 - BUDGET FY95 (Available at Town Hall)

This ordinance shall be entitled the budget for the Town of Shalimar, Florida for the Fiscal Year October 1, 1995 through September 30 1996.

95-03 - UPDATES TOWN CODE OF ORDINANCES (Available at Town Hall)

An ordinance replacing Ordinance no. 82-08, Ordinance no. 74-11, Ordinance no. 71-01, and part IV.  Bonfires under Chapter 10, public health and general welfare of the Code of Ordinances and adopting by reference the Ocean City Wright Fire Control District Ordinance no. 88-01, incorporating by reference herein that ordinance with the exception of the language in section I, which reads:  "Any and all subsequent editions or amendments of the latest published editions to these copies"; where code requirements differ, will be applied to read:  "As they exist on the date of adoption of Ordinance 95-03 of the Town of Shalimar; the ordinance to be adopted incorporates the latest editions of the NFPA 101, life safety code; NFPA, National fire codes; NEC, National Electric Code; Standard building code by the Southern Building Code Congress International Inc.; Florida State Fire Marshal rules and regulations, also know as the Florida fire prevention codes, and the Okaloosa county fire code Ordinance no. 87-59; providing for minimum requirements for installation of wt standpipe systems and prohibiting the use of plastic pipe and fittings in their construction; requiring installation of sprinkler systems and prohibiting the use of plastic or combustible materials in their construction; providing for approval and installation of automatic sprinkler and fire alarm systems; requiring installation of smoke alarms/detectors; establishing procedures and rules for outdoor burning; establishing minimum requirements for existing paint spray booths; requiring review and approval of any and all building permits and area/plat developments; requiring formal fire district approval prior to issuance of Certificate of Occupancy from any authority; establishing fire code violation control system; designating authority for fire code and ordinance enforcement; providing penalties for violations or failure to comply; providing an effective date and supersession.

95-04 - LIMITS ON ANTENNA HEIGHTS (Available at Town Hall)

An ordinance amending Ordinance no. 90-06 which establishes limits on antenna heights in the Town of Shalimar and permits erection of certain tower type structures only in commercial zoning districts by setting structure of antenna height to one hundred feet above natural ground level.

95-05 - REGULATION AND CONTROL OF PUBLIC PROPERTIES (Available at Town Hall)

An ordinance regulating and controlling public utilization of all public lands, rights of way, and recreational areas in Shalimar, Florida; providing that motor vehicles shall not be operated in, on, or over areas other than those designated for vehicular traffic, parking or emergency repairs; prohibiting the sale or rentals of all items or goods on any public lands, rights of way or recreational areas of Shalimar, Florida, without a permit, lease, contract or franchise duly issued or executed by the governing body of Shalimar, Florida; providing penalties for violations; and, providing an effective date.

95-06 - NEW TOWN CODE

An ordinance adopting and enacting a new code for the Town of Shalimar, Florida; providing for the repeal of certain ordinances not included therein; providing a penalty for the violation thereof; providing for the manner or amending such code; and providing when such code and this ordinance shall become effective.

95-07 - NOT USED

95-08 - RESTRICTED WAKE AREAS (Not Approved)

An ordinance of the Town of Shalimar creating restricted areas on certain waters identified as Garnier's Bayou, south and east of Shalimar Bridge to include areas near Snug Harbour, Como Marina, Shalimar Yacht Basin and Sundrift town homes; defining "Restricted Areas", "Minimum Wake", and "Idle Speed", requiring the posting of signs; requiring state and federal permits; providing a penalty for violations; providing an effective data and repealing all ordinances or provisions thereof in conflict herewith.
